Many people often get confused with the concept of Latent Semantic Indexing. But what really it is?
Latentic Semantic Indexing is a process or technique to analyze homonyms, heteronyms and polysemses
- Homonyms are the words which are spelled and pronounced in the same way with difference in their meanings.
- Heteronyms are the words which are spelled same way but are pronounced differently.
- Polysemes are the words which are spelled in the same way but used in different ways.
Latent Semantic Indexing is the upcoming technique in the wold of SEO. No more keyword stuffing will be used now as the spiders will analyze the theme of the website with the help of LSI. For e.g. if you use the keyword lock in your website and there is no other words/sentences supporting it like keys, security, doors etc., the search engine will not consider it in lock category.
